
Emmalyn Carter graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelors in Psychology and she obtained her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has experience providing a variety of therapeutic services in both an individual and a group setting. She is passionate about using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a customized, person-centered approach to assisting teens and adults.
In addition, Emmalyn has extensive experience and training in grief and caregiver support. Emmalyn works with individuals to address issues of depression, anxiety, PTSD, loss, difficulty adjusting, relationship issues and substance use disorders. She is dedicated to providing a compassionate approach to self-healing.
